The market

In CBRE's H1 2026 report Atlanta passed Northern Virginia as the North American market with the most capacity under construction — about 2,882 MW, up more than 50% year over year.

Construction at that pace outruns the local skilled-trades pool, and cabling is one of the scopes that slips first because it comes late in the sequence, after the building and power.

Where we work

Douglas County and Lithia Springs on the west side, Fayetteville to the south, the eastern corridor toward Covington, and infill sites inside the metro. Many are multi-building campuses built in phases.

What Atlanta builds need from a crew

• Scale on short notice. Phases here are large. We can run several crews under one foreman structure and scale headcount through the phase at the same rate.
• Heat. Summer work in unconditioned shells is hot. Crews follow heat illness prevention — water, rest, shade, acclimatization — and the site's heat plan.
• Backbone and hall at the same time. Campus fiber and data hall cabling often overlap here. We staff splicing and structured cabling crews in parallel so one does not wait on the other.

Logistics

Crews fly into Hartsfield-Jackson and drive to site. Lodging is booked within about thirty minutes. Standard rotation is 21 days on and 7 off, 12-hour day or night shifts.
