- What does Hardline do?
- We supply foreman-led crews for fiber splicing, OTDR testing, structured cabling, rack and stack, outside plant/FTTH and punch and QA/QC work, mainly on data center builds.
- Who are your customers?
- Systems integrators, national and regional cabling contractors, electrical and low-voltage general contractors, and data center general contractors.
- How fast can a crew be on site?
- Typically 5 to 7 days on the West Coast and 7 to 10 days in most other regions, from a signed scope. Owner badging is usually the controlling step.
- Where do you work?
- All 50 states. Our main markets include Northern Virginia, Atlanta, Dallas–Fort Worth, Phoenix, Silicon Valley, Hillsboro, Chicago and Columbus.
- How is pricing structured?
- Blended hourly or per-unit. Travel, per diem and lodging are included and stated. Overtime, night differential and specialist equipment are separate lines.
- What rotations do crews work?
- 21 days on and 7 off, on 12-hour shifts, day or night. Other rotations can be arranged.
- Do you carry insurance?
- Yes — general liability and workers' compensation. Certificates of insurance are issued with every engagement.
- Who supervises the crew?
- Our foreman, who reports to your superintendent and sends daily production numbers.
- Do crews bring their own equipment?
- Crews bring hand tools and prep kits. Splicers, OTDRs and certification testers are supplied by the crew or by you, and the quote says which.
- Can you work on union sites?
- Can you handle background checks and drug screening?
- Yes. We run the screening your site requires before travel.
- What happens if a crew member does not show up or is not a fit?
- The foreman reports it the same day and we replace the person. You are not billed for hours not worked.
- What do you need to send a quote?
- Scope or drawings, site location, headcount by skill (or quantities), start date, shift, and site access requirements.
