You splice fiber on data center campuses and FTTH networks around the country, as part of a crew run by a foreman who has done the work himself.
What you do
- Ribbon mass fusion and single-fiber splicing
- Cable prep, tray management and enclosure work
- OTDR and power meter testing on your splices
- Documentation that matches the splice matrix
Schedule and pay

What we look for
- 2+ years of fusion splicing; ribbon experience a strong plus
- OTDR experience
- Clean, documented work
- Able to pass background check and drug screen
- Willing to travel
- Certifications such as FOA CFOS/S or ETA are welcome, not required

FREQUENTLY ASKED
- Do I need my own fusion splicer?
- Not necessarily. Tell us what equipment you own. Some projects supply splicers; on others, splicers with their own equipment are paid more.
- Is housing really paid?
- Yes. Lodging near the site, travel to and from site, and per diem are paid on traveling projects.
- What if I only have single-fiber experience?
- Apply anyway. There is plenty of single-fiber work, and we can pair you with ribbon splicers on larger projects.
